IMAGE HEAVY (is it heavy enough? haha) POST~

Oh my gawd... I's been a while since we actually had a serious and really tiring shoot, but before that, let me start with a short backlog. We had a Venomania shoot around two weeks or so ago, and I had the pleasure and the honor of cosplaying as Mikulia Greonio for a whole bunch of awesome people. There had been problems, yes, but we made it...!

And now after months and months of planning, and (myself... lol haha) were able to shoot this. Sayonara no Tsubasa was (and still is haha) a plan that was/is very very sentimental and special to me, and I'm really happy that despite all the stuff that happened prior to and during the shoot we were able to push through. Today (May 18, 2012) was an extremely hectic day. The night before the shoot, I was already quite nervous. I was even worrying about the makeup style that I was going to use and had to talk to Kat(rina) on the phone to calm my nerves. Ami was rushing was rushing the details of her outfit too haha.

The day of the shoot... well at first it was a string of misfortunes. xD I had to go to 's place so we could go together to Ami's place, but while walking outside my house, my slipper snapped and I had to go back to get a new pair. Those were my favorite slippers too. Guh. I suddenly got a cut near my wrist for reasons that I don't know and despite it being small, it really stung a lot during the shoot. On the way, we were stopped by the MMDA (our local traffic police) for smoke belching. We were like "what? are you serious?" which left Ryan and I really pissed. Hello... It was a diesel powered car. Of course it smokes. We picked up at Greenhills and fortunately did not have any problems on the way. We then picked Ami up and went to the venue.

We were kinda worried when it started raining, but fortunately, it stopped when we reached the place. There we met with who was one of our photographers for the day. It was my first time dressing up and prepping inside a car, which made me wonder if that was how models felt whenever they do the same... though usually their vans have a vanity table set already. It was cool inside the car with the air-condition and all, but when we got out... oooooooh boooooooy... HUMIDITY SUUUUUUUUCKS! It was so hot and humid that I felt like our makeup was melting right after we left the car. It was also my first time to shoot at a very, very, VEEEEEEERY public public place. People were staring at us, though it was really cure whenever children and their parents wanted to take photos with us.

One annoying thing that happened?

We were in a public park... a freaking PUBLIC park... meaning that it's open to everyone for anything... but then some "authorities" decided to make their way though and waste our time with some nonsense idea that we were not allowed to shoot in that specific area. Bah. Who knows if they really were authorities when they weren't even wearing or willing to show their IDs? DX was arguing with them, fighting for our rights to use the park, and even though were weren't able to get permission to use that one specific area, Kira won the argument. Haha! Serious. This is what I really don't like in this country. You can't even shoot in peace in a place where you should be allowed to shoot in peace. Not to mention that Kira already had tons of shoot there before and he wasn't prohibited. Why start now? Pffffft--- Sigh. Anywaaaaaaaaaaaay... at least the shoot continued on.

Originally, the shoot was only to be until five in the afternoon, but we we really wanted to make the most of it and ended up staying until evening... and if I were to choose, those shots had the really epic ones... with the BOKEEEEEEEEH and all that sparkle xD Hohoho! I won't spoil how the shots look like. Heck even I'm excited to see them haha! Anyway, we left the place at around... was that 7:30pm?... dropped at Trinoma Mall, Kira near his workplace, Anton at Ayala area, before Ryan and I went back to Ami's place again for dinner and rest. And... this was also the first time for me to get home at 11 in the evening. I was like whoa... I never get home that late. Fortunately, I wasn't scolded, but my parents did give me annoyed looks. Haha... I did keep on texting them where I was and what I was doing though. xD

Oh gawd... I want to see the photos already... TTATT
